Jeya Book Centre (Pvt) Ltd has been established in 1980 in order to import and distribute advanced and modern books throughout Sri Lanka . This company is a private limited liability company. The registered office and principle place of business is situated at No-9-10 U.G.Floor, Peoples Park Complex Colombo – 11 and show rooms are at No.91-99 , U.G.Floor, Peoples Park Complex Colombo – 11 & No.688 Galle Road Colombo – 3. We are one of the leading booksellers in Sri Lanka. We are Importer and Distributor of printed books of various categories – Educational, Cultural, Religious , Scientific & Sports. We Import books from UK , USA , Singapore & India for the last thirty years. We are also a direct importer and distributer of books from publishers worldwide. The major portion of our books are imported from UK publishers and Indian Publishers. The prime publishers from Uk are Book Point , Elsevier , Nelson Thornes , Pearson Education ,Harper Collins , Taylor & Francis and many more. The main Publishers from India are Oxford University Press , Cambridge University Press , Penguin , Lippincott , Navneet UBSPD and Jaypee Brothers. We distribute books to almost all the University Libraries - Jaffna , Ruhunu , Eastern , South eastern , Trincomalee , Sabaragamuwa , Vavuniya & Peradeniya University and other Institution such as Ministry of Health , Ministry of Education , Government Institutions , Banks and Medical Faculties. We are one of the Prime Sponsors and active participant in the Colombo International Book fair at BMICH. Also we organize many Exhibition throughout the country to provide healthy knowledge in literature to the customers. We market our titles throughout Sri Lanka. We implement our deliveries through three locations - Jeya Book Centre Pettah Branch , Kolpity Branch and Stores in Grandpas. We execute our financial activities through three banks - Bank of Ceylon , Commercial bank of Ceylon PLC and Sampath Bank. We appreciate customers’ loyalty and our suppliers’ co-operation and assistance. We have fifty employees in our company. Our employees are encouraged to achieve excellent performance by dedication , commitment , Co-ordination and Co-operation . We open our office six days a week. Our show rooms carry an extensive collection of Books , Stationery and Magazines. Our prime objective is to provide a satisfactory service and to build a strong relationship with our customers.
